Devil’s Claw, also known as Grapple Plant or Wood Spider, is a plant native to South Africa, Botswana and Namibia. Its tuberous roots have been used medicinally for thousands of years by the San and Khoi people to treat a wide spectrum of ailments – lowering fever, healing wounds, alleviating pain, helping with arthritis, lower back pain, gout and indigestion.
